Hi I am Mae!

Over 20 years ago, when I first became a believer, I knew in my heart that I wanted to be a missionary — and I followed that calling. My family and I moved to the foothills of the Himalayas, where I shared the incredible love of God with unreached people groups.

Through years of trials and persecution, it was God’s Word that sustained me.

In 2020, while back in the United States on furlough, life took an unexpected turn. On a hot summer afternoon, everything changed, and I found myself facing a new identity — that of a single mom. It was one of the most difficult seasons of my life, yet the same faithful God who walked with me in the mission field carried me through once again.

Though the setting changed, my passion to further the Gospel never faded. I turned to my artistic gifts and design skills as a new way to share His hope and joy. That’s how Once Upon a Tree Wall Art Shop was born — later becoming Adorning Grace Co.

I’ve since transitioned from traditional to digital art, and I’m still learning every day. But my heart is full knowing that each piece I create is a small part of spreading God’s love. My prayer is that these designs will plant His Word in your heart and bring you the same hope and joy I’ve found in Jesus.
